Reclaiming Rites of Passage
Why does it matter?

Many of us come from ancestral lines that have suffered hundreds of years of cultural genocide, persecution, democide, and absorption assimilation. We live in a culture far from our ancestral practices. Deep in our bones we suffer the loss of our connection to our people, our place, and our ceremonies. Perhaps the greatest disease of our time is disconnect. A lack of authentic and meaningful relationships with ourselves, others, and the natural world can be the root of symptoms like anxiety, depression, apathy, PMS, addiction, and chronic pain. We are steeped in a culture where doing is more important than being. Our patterns of living, and health reflect these often unconscious, ingrained values.

To reclaim the foundations of who we are as humans today requires a reclamation of meaning, mystery, and magic. The universal elements of humanity at the heart of this movement exist in common patterns of stories that are found on every continent. Stories that make up the framework of culture.  Rites of passage are the embodiment of these stories. The core of this work endeavors to utilize the common elements of these universal ceremonies supporting participants on their journey to reconnect to themselves, others, and nature.
It begins with you. It happens with us. Let's do this together.
Dear One, You are the gift.
