"As participants in Western culture we come together to hear stories in many different ways. We gather in movie theaters, around television screens, to discuss politics, or gossip, for religious purposes, even around the dinner table. We know that our voices tell our stories. Our bodies also tell our stories. They are reflected in the way we move across a room, our hand gestures, our gaze. We are our stories. Yet the wisdom of stories and the art of story telling has been forgotten, left behind in a world of online communities and workdays that never end. The layers of meaning and symbolism in stories, as in the human spirit, are infinite. Come take this adventure with me. Together we will travel to the innermost places of your heart. We will dive deep and see what diamonds we can find there. Even in the darkest corners of our psyche light yearns to be discovered."
